Professor Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Ph.D
Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Khan holds a Ph.D. from Temple
University, Philadelphia, USA, in Comparative Study of Religion with special
reference to Islamic Philosophy and Theology. He has been awarded Gold Medal by
Peshawar University of Pakistan for his double M.A. in Islamic Studies and
Arabic language.
Professor Khan has worked as Director of the Atlanta Dar al-Uloom, al-Farooq
Masjid, Atlanta, Georgia, USA from November 1991 till April 1996. He also
taught at Post-Graduate Level for over ten years at Peshawar University,
Pakistan. In addition to that, he has vast experience of teaching Islamic
sciences and Hifz al-Quran al-Karim with al-Tajweed. he is also well versed in
many languages including English, Urdu, Arabic and Persian. About six of his
research articles have been published in national and international journals.
